About me
My name is Davide Sita, and I am a Nature Enthusiast and Storyteller of the Wild.
For as long as I can remember, nature has been at the center of my life—a passion that has always stayed with me, even during times when I worked in fields far from the natural world.
Today, this curiosity has become a mission:
to reveal the beauty and complexity of the natural world and inspire its protection.
How do I pursue this mission? Through my work as a nature guide ›, leading people to discover the most authentic nature in Italy and Africa, also through the project Trip To Rescue ›, dedicated to conservation activities.
As a writer, by sharing stories and knowledge on specialized magazines › and on my blog ›, and as a science communicator ›, bringing the magic of nature to everyone through a radio show.
I believe that understanding nature is the first step to loving and protecting it.
If you want to discover this extraordinary world with me, I would be thrilled to guide you on a unique and unforgettable journey.

Studies

Theoretical and Practical Course – Namibian Driving Licence
- 2024, Windhoek (Namibia)
- Examinations held at the National Traffic Information System
description
I obtained a Category C1 driving licence in Namibia, successfully passing both a written theory test and a practical driving exam at the offices of NaTIS (National Traffic Information System).
This process required a solid understanding of local traffic regulations and practical skills in driving medium-sized vehicles in demanding environmental conditions.
I am currently in the process of obtaining the PDP (Professional Driving Permit), required for the transport of tourists.

- Arena Academy ›
- Focus and Courses led by Davide Bomben (Head of AFGA Guides Italy, FGASA Guide, and Senior Anti-Poaching Instructor)
description
Since 2016, I have pursued specialized training aimed at developing advanced skills in safari guiding and overland tourism. Each focus area was designed to provide in-depth knowledge of ecosystems, the species inhabiting them, and the operational management of itineraries and tourist facilities in remote environments.
2015 and 2016 – Mammal Focus
This training allowed me to acquire detailed knowledge of major African species, deepening my understanding of their behavior, ecology, and survival strategies.
It strengthened my ability to interpret and communicate the value of biodiversity during field experiences.
2017 – Taiga and Arctic Guide Training Course
It offered me the opportunity to explore boreal ecosystems, with particular attention to animal adaptations to harsh climates and the conservation of natural resources in these areas.
The training also covered logistics and itinerary planning in remote environments, with a focus on typical structures such as lodges and base camps.
2018 – Namibia Focus
The course embraced all major biomes of the country, including desert, savannah, and semi-arid areas.
It deepened my knowledge of plant and animal adaptations to different environmental conditions and developed skills in overland itinerary planning.
Special attention was given to identifying key natural and cultural attractions, as well as understanding the most suitable accommodation structures for responsible tourism.
2023 – Kruger National Park Focus
The training focused on studying ecological relationships between predators and prey, sustainable wildlife management techniques, and the organization of safaris—both self-drive and guided—in one of southern Africa’s most iconic ecosystems.
2024 – Botswana Focus
This training concentrated on aquatic and desert ecosystems, with a special focus on the Okavango Delta and the formation of the Kalahari Desert.
It included the analysis of wildlife-habitat interactions in these unique contexts, logistical management of itineraries in national parks, and an in-depth look at accommodation structures and base camps for sustainable tourism.
This multidisciplinary journey represents a key element of my preparation, providing scientific, operational, and logistical skills to deliver a high-level safari and overland guiding experience, always oriented toward conservation and the enhancement of natural heritage.
